Our Dream

Established in January 2002, the Dream Center is a non-profit organization with a single focus: to help at-risk and high-risk community members fulfill their dreams.

Strategically located on the West side of Salt Lake City, an area where currently over 90 languages are spoken, The Center is surrounded by a community of poverty, addictions, and gangs. The Dream Center is here to meet the needs of those who need help, whether it is in the form of food, clothing, educational, emotional, or medical assistance. The Center’s vision is to allow those in their community to think outside the poverty mentality and to teach them how to assimilate into a productive life. Since opening its doors, the Dream Center has helped literally thousands of families and individuals eliminate obstacles to fulfill their dreams.

I'm just here to help people."
- Utah Dream Center Founder and President Alfred Murillo

Our Vision

The ultimate vision is to create an international village where youth facilities, medical practices, food and clothing centers converge enhancing our City’s quality of life.

 How big can you dream?

There is a place where dreams happen. And they happen in a place you would least expect—where poverty, drugs and language barriers threaten to define neighborhoods. Maybe you would be surprised to discover that place is right here in Wasatch valley’s West side strip. This is the Utah Dream Center’s base of operations, and it is transforming one individual at a time.
